Team: members and roles

Creating a team (teams need a Plus, Pro or Ultra plan), inviting people, what the owner and members see, and how the team's wallet and seats work.

Create a team

  1. Click your photo in the sidebar footer, then Add team
  2. Name the team and choose its plan: Plus, Pro or Ultra. You pay before the team exists, and it gets its own plan and wallet, separate from your personal account
  3. Already paying for a plan? You can bring it to the team: the plan and your whole balance go with it, and your personal account goes back to Basic. Or subscribe to a separate plan for the team
  4. The team appears under Workspaces, in the same menu. Whoever creates it is the owner

Invite people

Only the owner invites, and only in a team workspace.

  1. Open Settings → Invitations (or Invite members, in your photo's menu)
  2. Click Create invitation and pick the role — Owner or Member — and the link type: one-time or 24-hour
  3. Optional: type the person's email and Prophet sends the link by email. Otherwise, copy the link and send it yourself

Seats per plan

The limit counts everyone in the team, you included. It is the TEAM's plan that counts, not your personal plan.

The team's wallet

  • Everything that runs in the team workspace spends the team's credits
  • With the team wallet at zero, nothing new starts there — and Prophet never uses the owner's personal wallet instead
  • Teams get no daily credit: they live on the team plan's credits and on purchases
  • If the team's subscription is cancelled, nobody is removed and new invitations are blocked. The team uses the balance that is left — the month's plan credits end with the cancellation, purchased credits stay — and then needs a plan again
