Finding leads

Describe who you want to reach in your own words. Prophet builds a search plan, you review it, and you only pay for the contacts you reveal.

Where it starts

Outreach opens on Home, with the question Who do you want to reach today?. That page also holds your Recent searches, your sending accounts, what is waiting for you and the active campaigns.

Sign in and open: Open Outreach
  1. Write who you are looking for — for example, *sales directors at fintechs in Brazil* — and click Build plan
  2. Review the search plan: each line is a criterion (job title, industry, location, company size, seniority). Edit it, remove it or add a new one
  3. Anything that could not become a filter is listed as not used in this search. Add it by hand if it matters
  4. Choose Just search to see who matches, or Create campaign to take the leads straight into a new campaign

What it costs

Searching

Free. You see how many people match the plan without spending credits.

Revealing

10 credits per contact revealed. Contacts that come back without an email are not charged.

Verifying the email

2 credits. Prophet skips the check when the email already came back verified from the reveal.

Where the contacts go

Everyone you reveal is saved to the workspace Contacts. If some cannot be saved, the search tells you and the revealed data stays in it. A saved search can be reopened from Recent searches.

The leads board

Leads in a campaign show up on the Leads board, in the Outreach panel. The columns are stages: New, In sequence, Replied, Interested, Meeting booked, Meeting held, Nurture and Discarded.

Who moves each lead

Moved by events

New, In sequence, Replied, Meeting booked and Meeting held change on their own when something happens: an email sent, a reply, a calendar event.

Moved by you

Interested, Nurture and Discarded are your call. When you discard, you pick a reason, and it stays in the lead history.

After the meeting

Once the meeting is held, the card offers Turn into opportunity: the opportunity starts in Proposal on the Opportunities board, and the lead stays on the leads board.
