  • Negotiation — negotiating
  • Closed Won and Closed Lost are hidden by default: use Show won and lost

Where an opportunity comes from

From the leads board

When the meeting with a lead happens, the card offers Turn into opportunity. It starts in Proposal, and the lead stays on the leads board.

By hand

+ New opportunity: pick a CRM contact or just write the company name, with an optional value and the stage.

On the card

  • Value, probability, days in stage and the expected close date — the card tells you when the close date is overdue
  • Open the card to edit value, currency, probability, expected close, owner, client and notes, and to see the history, meetings and the conversation with the contact
  • The top of the page adds up what is open and the value weighted by probability

Closing

Won

Confirm the final value and date. Won and turn into client creates the client from the company; Just mark as won closes it without creating one.

Lost

Pick the reason — price, wrong timing, competitor, no response, no fit or other. It stays in the history and shows where opportunities slip away.

Archive

Takes the opportunity off the board and out of the totals. The history, the client and the meetings stay.

In a team

The All or Mine filter shows the whole team’s opportunities or only yours.
