Use case · Automations
Your agency’s routines running on their own.
Instead of building a workflow with triggers and steps, you describe the process in plain words. Prophet creates the automation, runs it on a schedule or when something happens in an app, and shows the history of every run.
- Slack
- Google Drive
- Trello
The problem
- Building workflows with triggers, filters and steps takes time and someone who knows the tool.
- A workflow breaks silently and nobody finds out why.
- Routines that need reading and judgment, like summarizing or prioritizing, don’t fit a fixed workflow.
- Delivery follow-up depends on someone asking every day.
How it works
Describe the routine
Say what to do, when and for whom, the way you would ask someone on the team.
Prophet builds and tests it
It connects the apps it needs, does the first run with you and leaves the automation scheduled.
It runs on its own
At the set time or when something changes in an app, like a card moving to another list or an email arriving.
You keep track
Every run stays in the history. If something fails, the reason shows up in words and you get a notice.
Ask like this
- Every day at 8am, tell me what is late in Trello.
- Message on WhatsApp whoever has a deliverable due today.
- When a card moves to Approved, email the client.
- Every Monday, prepare a summary of the week’s operation.
- Go through incoming emails and flag what is urgent.
Questions about automations.
Do I need to build a workflow like in Zapier or Make?
No. You describe the process in plain words and Prophet builds the automation. It can read, summarize and decide using the client’s context, not just copy data from one app to another.
When do automations run?
On a recurring schedule, such as every day at 8am or every Friday at 5pm, or when something happens in a connected app.
How do I know an automation worked?
Each automation shows its latest runs. When one fails, the reason appears in words, such as a disconnected app, and you get a notice.
Can an automation overspend?
Each run has a spending limit. If it goes beyond what is expected, it stops and you decide whether to raise the limit.
Does the free plan include automations?
Yes. On the free plan, each automation runs at most once a day; on paid plans you set the frequency.
